mitch all together

actually, i'm not sure whether he was "together" or not. i think that's always pretty debatable with mitch hedberg. but he sure was pretty damn funny. when you watch or listen to mitch's routines, he always sounds like he's drunk or high.... or both for that matter. but he has all these awesome one liners and the very best laugh in the whole world. he could just stand on stage and laugh and i'd be entertained.

i've never actually seen him perform live before, so it was really cool to finally get to see him. from all the accounts i'd heard, he usually just stands on stage and looks at his feet, never the audience. but he seemed fairly animated (for him) tonight. they had the curtain closed, and he went exploring behind it. he would still talk when he was offstage, and it was hilarious. even when the delivery on his jokes is off, he still manage to make everyone laugh. i don't think he was quite as good as dane cook was last year, but it was still so funny and i'm totally glad i could go.

i almost wasn't able to make it - i TA a lab from 6-9, but fortunately we had a take-home lab this week and everyone finished in an hour and a half. i made sure i got them out of there in time, heh.

hmm... what else can i fit in this post? ah yes, i went to the world's crappiest football game on saturday. and spent 10 hours in a car to get there and back. hoo boy, did we bite it big time with that game? only georgia tech could beat clemson one week and then lose to unc the next. i mean, our marching band could be the unc football team. but that's how it goes, and now we get to look forward to miami... weeee.

that's all for now, time for bed.
